Do you need to renew or repair the roofing on a flat-roofed structure? Singers Roofing covers everything from flat roof repairs to brand-new installations. Flat roofs come in an array of structures and sizes. In the domestic sector, they typically include single-storey extensions, sheds, garages and porches. Commercial applications range from office buildings to retail and hospitality premises.
As a Lancing-based roofing company, we operate in Sussex and the neighbouring areas. Our key service locations include Brighton, Hove, Littlehampton and Worthing.
Our time-served team meets all your flat roofing needs.
Whether you’re installing the roofing on a new structure or replacing material that has reach the end of its lifecycle, we manage your project from start to finish. We use IKO products, ensuring you receive long-lasting, high-performance results.
GRP, or glass reinforced plastic, consists of polyester resin reinforced by chopped strand mat glass fibres. The resin itself is a liquid. When on site, we start the cold-application and curing process by adding a catalyst. The resulting mix produces an incredibly strong, yet surprisingly light, GRP laminate.
Our roofing company moulds GRP fibreglass to suit the specific dimensions of your roof. With impressive flexibility, we can work around all kinds of roofing features without any compromise in quality or performance.
Most importantly, GRP fibreglass delivers robust, impact-resistant and 100% weatherproof roofing with a quick turnaround.
Torch-On Mineral Felt
This roofing solution is a traditional favourite when it comes to covering flat roofs. The structure has 3 layers: a vapor control sheet, reinforced felt and a mineral cap sheet.
During the installation process, we melt-weld these layers to each other and the roofing surface using a blowtorch. The bonding bitumen forms part of the membrane’s core. This provides completely homogenous bitumen throughout, so you won’t need to worry about flat roof repairs for a long time.
The resulting surface provides a durable, fully waterproof, impenetrable seal.
Hot melt waterproofing systems are flexible, tough, self-sealing membranes. Manufactured using synthetic rubbers, refined bitumen as well as fillers and additives, this solution has a hot-application process.
Our roofing company uses purpose-built machinery to melt this material before applying it to a pre-prepared structural deck. We lay two 3mm coats to create a monolithic waterproofing system.
Available in several different systems, the specially formulated mastic asphalt solutions we supply have advanced polymer technology. This gives them the perfect combination of increased fatigue resistance, long-term durability and improved temperature stability. Of equal importance, this option is quick and easy to install.
Our single-ply roofing options require no hot works or frames during installation. When complete, they make a lightweight addition to your structure in Brighton, Worthing or the wider Sussex area. This means single-ply roofing isn’t only safe and easy to install, it also allows you to minimise the roof zone depth of your building’s design.
You can use this flat roofing option for cold and warm roofs. Available with a thickness of 1.2mm or 1.5mm, and with an aesthetically appealing finish, single-ply roofing holds huge appeal for a wide range of applications.
